Emulative movements should be closely attached to the realization of the set socio-economic targets, focusing on inflation curbing, macro-economic stabilization, and the combat against corruption and waste.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung , Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Awards made the statement at the council’s 43rd meeting on Monday.

Accordingly, ministries, sectors, mass organizations and localities must design their own emulative movements in accordance with their own socio-economic development targets and the Government’s resolution No. 11.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also stressed the importance of expanded leadership and coordination among ministries, sectors and localities to make the emulative campaign on building new rural areas progress well.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung urged the council to review and supplement legal regulations on emulation and awards.
