Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrives in Japan on official tour

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his entourage on Sunday arrived in Tokyo, beginning an official visit to Japan from October 30-November 2.

As scheduled, PM Dũng will hold talk with his Japanese counterpart Yoshihiko Noda, meet with President of Japanese Communist Party, receive Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as well as leaders of the host country’s big companies on Monday.

On the Sunday afternoon, PM Dũng came to visit Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and talked with Vietnamese community there.

The Government chief briefed about the country’s socio-economic development and spoke highly of the effort made by Vietnamese Embassy and people in speeding up the relationship between Việt Nam and Japan over the past time.

Japan is Việt Nam’s top investor and trade partner, and biggest ODA provider. Both countries support each other in regional and international forums.
